3.5 stars. Decent, but not as good as the first one. I solved the mystery about halfway through, and Alex never actually figured it out--the villain revealed themselves in the end, and she was all surprised. *sigh*Also, I am firmly team Death, and Kalayna Price doesn't give him nearly as much screen time as his rival, the arrogant, overprotective, and supremely irritating Falin. Unfair.Still, this series is on the better end of the urban fantasy spectrum, and I'm more than willing to read Alex's continuing adventures in future installments. Hopefully with more Death. *cough*
