3.5 starsI do love me a good lady pirate privateer. However, what bugs me about most HR starring lady seafarers, this book no exception, is the endings. Almost inevitably, the book ends with the woman giving up her seafaring ways to become a landlubber, deciding that love is more important than sailing, as though one couldn't possibly have both. If both you and your mate are ship captains and love it, why the hell couldn't you just make a life at sea? That sounds like the most awesome ending to me, not sadly giving up your former life to sit around running a house and raising boring, non-sailor babies.Ending aside though, this one was really entertaining.
