This book was a lot of fun. I'm a fan of thieves, spies, and other rogue-types, so this book and its predecessor receive an automatic bump with me. As with Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls books, I find the romance kind of boring. However, there are enough heist hijinks that I can just ignore the awkward boy angst and enjoy the con. And what a con! I loved being along for the ride as Kat and her crew plotted and executed not one but two intricate gem heists. This book is fun and exciting, but there's not much depth to it. A perfect summer vacation read.
