3.5 stars. Memorable due to the setting's departure from London a bit more than halfway through the book. I enjoyed getting to see some of the rest of the world in a Regency romance. However, I didn't find the characters or plot particularly compelling. Overall a solid romance that's slightly more exciting than the norm, and definitely well-written enough.I definitely liked it enough to pick up the next one in the series...except that apparently Lottie, of all people, is the heroine of that one, and I despised Lottie. I'm planning to skip that one right over and go to the third one, about Merryn. There were very tantalizing hints in this book that Merryn might have a secret, possibly even dangerous hobby, and I am desperate to learn more about her.
