Surprisingly good. Tessa Dare is very hit or miss for me. She writes really entertainingly, but her plots often leave me yawning. This one was great though. There was a bit of an "It's okay if you don't have the scientific career you've been dreaming of your whole life as long as you have love!" undertone that annoyed me, and I felt the last few chapters were a bit superfluous, but I would definitely recommend this to HR fans. Tessa Dare is also one of the most quotable HR authors out there--if I were more of a quoter, there were tons of witty one-liners I could have pulled out to share.
