3.5 stars. This book did some interesting things, and it was pretty unique, but I was distracted by logic issues (how can a body be empty of its spirit but still a functioning member of society?) and also never really connected with the main character.I'm also not sure I'd call it YA. I actually think this book would have more appeal to adults than teens, though it would definitely be one of those adult books with teen appeal. If that makes sense.
